By downloading, installing, or using Righteous Road ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and OptimaTech Labs ("we," "us," "our"), the creator of Righteous Road.
2. Our Mission
Righteous Road exists to help Christian families stay connected and protect their loved ones through thoughtful technology. We are guided by the biblical principles of stewardship, integrity, and love. These values shape how we build our product, treat our users, and conduct our business.

3. Description of Service
Righteous Road is a family safety application that provides:
- Location Tracking: Real-time GPS location of family members who have installed the driver app
- Smart Alerts: Notifications based on location and time (arrival, departure, presence, absence)
- Guardrails: Geofenced zones with entry/exit notifications
- Emergency SOS: One-tap emergency alert with GPS location sharing
- No-Signal Detection: Alerts when a driver's phone stops sending updates
- Location History: Record of past locations and trips
4. Account Registration
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Family Accounts
As a parent account holder, you may add driver accounts for family members. By adding a driver, you represent that:
- You have the legal authority to monitor that person's location (parent/guardian for minors, or consent from adults)
- You will use the location information responsibly and for legitimate family safety purposes
- You will not use the App to stalk, harass, or harm any individual
5. Subscription and Payment
Pricing
Righteous Road uses a per-driver subscription model:
- Monthly: $9.99 per driver per month
- Annual: $79.99 per driver per year (33% savings)
The parent account is free; you only pay for the drivers you monitor.
Billing
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot directly process refunds, but we're happy to help you navigate Apple's refund process if needed.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Righteous Road only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App to track anyone without proper legal authority or consent
- Use the App to stalk, harass, intimidate, or harm any person
- Use the App for any illegal surveillance activities
- Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our systems
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship to tracked individuals
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

Righteous Road is designed to build trust within families—not to enable controlling or abusive behavior. We encourage open communication with family members about why and how you use location sharing. Transparency and mutual respect are the foundation of healthy families.
7. Consent Requirements
By using Righteous Road, you confirm that:
- For minor children: You are the parent or legal guardian with authority to consent on their behalf
- For adult family members: You have obtained their informed consent to track their location
- For elderly parents: You have appropriate authority (legal guardianship, power of attorney, or their consent)
The driver app clearly indicates when location sharing is active, ensuring transparency for tracked individuals.
8. Emergency SOS Feature
The Emergency SOS feature is designed to help in urgent situations. Please understand:
- SOS sends location to your configured contacts—it does not automatically contact emergency services unless you enable auto-call 911
- We are not an emergency response service and cannot guarantee emergency response times
- The feature depends on GPS accuracy, cellular/WiFi connectivity, and device battery
- You should always call 911 directly in life-threatening emergencies
9. Limitations of Service
While we strive to provide reliable service, please understand:
- Location accuracy: GPS accuracy varies based on device, environment, and signal conditions
- Service availability: The App requires internet connectivity and may experience outages
- Battery impact: Location tracking uses device battery; impact varies by device and settings
- Not a substitute: Righteous Road is not a substitute for direct communication, professional monitoring services, or emergency services
10. Intellectual Property
Righteous Road, including its design, features, content, and branding, is owned by OptimaTech Labs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial family safety purposes.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Righteous Road, you consent to our privacy practices.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
While we build and maintain Righteous Road with care and integrity, no technology is perfect. We cannot guarantee that the App will meet all your expectations or that all information will be accurate at all times.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPTIMATECH LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OptimaTech Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
15. Termination
By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the App in ways that harm others or our service. We will provide notice when possible and appropriate.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date
- We will notify you via email or in-app notification
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
17. Governing Law
